Default Live from the Pacific Princess

Short report since we just boarded yesterday (in Honolulu); first day
of a 36 day cruise. We're in Kauai today; great weather. Been here
several previous times so no excursions.

Ship is lovely; tiny and petite. Our cabin, a BD balcony, is
centrally located, roomy and comfy. Enough storage for everything,
and we brought EVERYTHING! We're Elite status so we got a free set-up
(8 soda, 2 beer, 2 perrier, 2 bottled water, 6 small bottles of
assorted booze). We're able to change from their selections to ours
(soda); don't know yet if we can swap the booze.

CD is John Clelford; we've cruised with him several times. He's an OK
guy. Singers and dancers are all from Australia; young, cute and work
very hard. They're fine. Comic last night - Mickey Manners - old guy
with old stuff. Too touchy feely with some of the audience.

Food report from me is not worth it. I'm not a critic because I'm
very picky/selective and don't try new foods. Coffee is the pits! I
brought along my own one cup coffee maker.....Ah......Starbucks and
Kona. Wonderful!

Will check in again when there's something to say.

Aloha

Arlene

I loved the former "R-Class" ships when they were sailing for Renaissance,
perfect size for my tastes. Hope they are still as nice under Princess (and
Oceania as well.)

Thanks Becca, we surely are. Just left the Hawaiian islands and are on our way to Christmas Island; we get there on Monday. Don't have a clue about this place; will be interesting to see what's there. I don't think there's anything earth shattering there, since Princess isn't selling any excursions. So far this little ship is terrific - food, entertainment, service, etc.

Thirty-six days, beginning in Hawaii sounds awesome Arlene. Hope you
and Milt have a blast. What's the gym like on this ship?

Hi Howie.....

For such a teeny ship the gym is quite adequate. There are 5
treadmills, rowers, steppers and all the other assorted equipment.
Milt and I open the place at 7:00, so we've never waited for anything.
No TV in there, just the usual blasting R and R.
