Default Hostel accomodation in Edinburgh

Hi there,

my boyfriend and I will spend a few days in Edinburgh in April. I
searched the internet for cheap accomodation and stumbled over lots of
hostels. Has anyone been to one of those and can tell me his/her
impressions:

Brodies 2 (93 High Street, The Royal Mile)
Budgetbackpackers (15 Cowgatehead)
Hoppo Edinburgh Backpackers hostel (Cockburn street)

Those are the three that appealed to me most. Who can give me advice?
Which is the nicest?

Thanks for your help! :-)

Greetings from Austria,
Cathi.
