Carnival Magic

I understand that Carnival Cruise Lines is planning on adding another ship
in June of 2011 called Carnival Magic. Does anyone know anymore details
such as where will be the home port for Carnival Magic and will the
Mediterranean be the first cruise to introduce the new ship? If so, what
do you think the itinerary for that cruise will be?

I am very interested because my daughter and I and my sister and her
daughter want to take a Mediterranean cruise together around then and a new
ship would be just wonderful on which to take it. We should all have saved
up enough money by then and it will be the trip of a life time for the four
of us.

Carnival seems to have pulled all their ships out of the Med if I recall
correctly. If you want to do the Med, you might have to look at other
options.

There are few details yet about the Magic.

If Carnival follows it's recent launches, the Magic will sail in
Europe....likely including the Med for the summer/fall of 2011 after which
it will sail to the "New World" for a yet-to-be-announced" homeport.

You could also ask this question of John Heald....tho I doubt that he knows
