Swapped out the NCL Spirit for Carnival Valor due to the Spirit having some
engine problems and causing us to miss a port. Last minute scheduling made
it tough to get flight into Miami so had to land in Ft Lauderdale. Anyone
familiar to making this commute? Any suggestions?
Thanks

It's a little longer but no big deal ... I usually fly into Ft.
Lauderdale because of cheaper airline deals ... 45 minutes instead of
20 ... $50 cab instead of $25 ...
Little less hectic airport ...

Just allow travel time. Sometimes traffic can be at a stand still on
the Turnpike. That simple ride can easily turn into an hour + some
days. If you have no delays its very easy by cab. Just don't cut it
close. Especially with your return flight.

that's what we usually do by choice. allow an hr to get to the pier in case
of traffic. cabs are easy to find

Phil, the Keeper of the Charter, has just posted the following in response
to a message from John Sisker.

***************

If you are sending a reply to a message or a posting be sure you
summarize the original at the top of the message, or include just
enough text of the original to give a context.

Would you tell us all why you consider yourself immune from such advice.
Phil's advice to John must apply to everyone if it has to have meaning and
validity within this group. Perhaps Phil would like to comment as well?

Actually... it's 95. Turnpike is further west.
