True, as alcohol isn't banned in Islam.
What's written in the Koran is that : wine is a gift from Allah to be used

Islam doesn't require women to hide themselves, either, and yet they
do.

Islam was a _moderating_ influence on the extreme behavior of Arabs,
but it has been distorted over time to reduce that moderating
influence and return to the old ways.

What if they want to wear shorts and hiking boots and brown paper bags
over their heads? What the **** does it matter what people wear?

It doesn't, but if they can wear what they want, then I want to be
able to wear exactly what I want.

Such dress is an Islamic tradition.

Such dress is mostly an _Arab_ tradition. Islam does not require that
women dress in black bedsheets.

No, it was raised that way.

There can be no racial prejudice among people who all belong to the
same race.

Aren't the majority of Asian immigrants from the Far East in France
of Vietnamese or Laotian origin?

I don't know. What difference does it make?

I forgot that you believe there is no racism in France.

Honor killings are not a French tradition.

The same applies to guys, who refuse to supply basic information and
wear shorts and hiking boots to work.

Yes, in some companies. In other companies, it's normal.

It's odd that you can't see why you have a problem in finding work.

It's not the way I dress, because that isn't apparent from a CV.

Those French who are ethnically Arab may have to hide it. Speaking good
French is one road out of the trap. If you are Arab, the first thing
to do is give you newborn French names.

If you are only ethnically Arab, then you ARE French, so why not give
your children French names?

If either group went into terrorism to any extent, France

No, the Arabs would be in trouble, as would anyone who looked Arab.

The goal of the successful terrorist is to frighten people without
making them angry. It's a very small target.

Which is understandable, since Muslims are economically and politically

This is just as much the fault of Muslims in France as anyone else. If
they don't integrate over time, they can expect to be marginalised.

There is a lot of discrimination against people of Arab and African
descent in France. A small number purposely exclude themselves from
French society, but the vast majority do not.

By 'including' (as opposed to excluding) themselves in French society
is not enough. They must integrate with the locals. It's the only way
to stop the prejudice. By and large Muslims don't integrate well, for
one reason or another, and that is the main concern.

... Ham is another thing, it is varied and pretty attractive. One Moslem
... student I had love it but gave it up for Ramadan. Along with beer.

... better tasting.

No problem, Earl, we'll never fight over chops. Keep your lamb and I'll
destroy all the pork chops on Earth - singlehandedly!

They're both perfectly tasty- Earl's taste buds may have been dulled by
the poor quality of meat in France.
