getting to and from somewhere remote

I just moved from Newfoundland to Montreal. I have to say that being
in a major center is a wonderful thing: deals to France and Germany at
the price of getting from Newoundland to somewhere else within
Newfoundland! The only reprieve is that you can get to Newfoudland to
London for a reasonable price and then you have easyjet, ryanair, and
so on. I don't know if anyone else has had a similar experience?
