Any comments on this place? We have been to Chaakanab 2xb4 and thought we
would try something different. Any comments appreciated. Thanks....BK

I have been there a number of times. Nice place, not as developed as Playa
Sol but there is a good beach and the bathroom and changing facilities are
clean. The snorkeling is not as good as Chankanaab. It has the usual
souvenir vendor area that you have to walk through to get in the place. No
admission fee and the restaurant is really good.

One thing to watch is your food and drink bill. Make sure it is accurate
and you aren't getting charged for things you did not order. Odd how the
waiter knows enough English to take your food and drink order but can't
figure out anything in English when you question the bill. vbg Ask for
the manager and all of a sudden things get corrected.

BTW - the shrimp cocktail there is excellent. One of those, an order of
guacamole and some chips makes a great meal.

Been there on more than one occasion and I second all of George's comments.

I always go to Mr Sancho's and really enjoy it. Never noticed a problem with
the bill; yet.
