Why do we need to know that, is that supposed to impress people???????

It's not Beverly Hills but it's far from a dangerous drug-infested dump.
Okay, well, the dump part might apply.

Thousands of people use the bus station every day and I've never heard of
anyone having trouble there. It's two blocks from Union Station which nobody
would ever claim to be dangerous, drug-infested, or dumpsome.

The worst anyone has to worry about is panhandlers.
