Auctioning Diani hotel rooms for charity

Hi all

Having just got back from another trip to Diani and Shimba hills, I have a
new challenge.
One of the charities out there (I'll leave the commercial break out this
time, although some will know who it is) has been offered some rooms at one
of the hotels, with breakfast, for free on the basis that they can sell them
and keep the proceeds. The hotel will look to make something on the food and
bar, for rooms which they otherwise wouldn't sell for these weeks.

This is potentially a very lucrative offer, if we can get the marketing
right.
I have already approached a local company who could provide transfers from
Mombasa at a sensible price, but I now need to figure out the best way to
sell the rooms.

EBay seems an obvious approach, but I can't see anyone else on there
offering rooms/holidays in this way. I suspect that maybe most people would
not want to commit money to a holiday in this way?

We could be talking about up to 3 double rooms for 45 weeks a year, so you
understand why it is worth me spending some time on it.

Any ideas at all how we could maximise the income from this, as it could be
the saviour for the particular trust.?
