High Rate Of Fraud In Thailand

to book hotel reservations using my VISA credit card, the charges were
denied without any real explanation. When I contacted the bank that
issued the card, I was told that VISA has stopped all its activaties
in Thailand as a result of a high rate of fraud. Fortunately I managed
to make the desired bookings online via AGODA, a Singapore based
travel agency.
What this means to Laraine and me is, that we are going to have to
take travelers checks with us instead of having the convenience of
just a credit card. Oh well!
