Default Ei(Light) Has Passed Over

The beautiful light in my life has passed away. Eileen (her name means
light) was admitted to the hospital 9 days ago. The pain in he stomach
that began last January had become unbearable. Turns out she had a
severe infection in her colon and that had become septic. Her last gift
to me was her passing in pure peace yesterday afternoon, as I gently
stroked her tiny wrist and hand. Our wonderful sons and a small, but
powerful group of other angels, were here to bravely support Eileen and
I during this last dance in our enchanted life together. I now share her
with the Oneness of which we are all a part.

Her ashes will be set adrift in the sea that was so much a part of the
enormous joy she gave and experienced in her life.

Howard:

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember you wife from past cruises. She was
always so nice and always had a smile for me.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Thoughts of my good friend Eileen Garland.....................
Words often fail me and this is one of those times. From what I know
of Eileen and Howard, their life together was indeed enchanted. I have
never witnessed a greater love between two people.
While I prayed for my friend's health to turn around, Eileen was in
such pain that she very probably prayed for the sweet release that is
finally hers. She was my very dear friend for the past 7 or 8 years.
We often talked 'way into the night, at times when Eileen was in pain
and couldn't sleep, and I was burning the midnight oil.
Eileen and I crossed the Atlantic together; twice. We sailed the
Pacific to Hawaii and back to San Diego. We were together on one of
the GGC's and several other cruises. Our last cruise together was on
the Zuiderdam just 7 months ago.
Eileen and Howard addended Bill's birthday party in April.
There are many other things that we shared, too numerous to relate
here.
Eileen was a wonderful, beautiful friend! I will miss her.
