What is a reasonable price nowadays for an official taxi for 6 km from a railway
station
to a hotel in St. Petersburg ?

Hi, it is about $4-5, I believe. In Moscow it would cost 200 rbl which
make $7. St. Petersburg might be a little cheaper.

Make sure you agree a price before you even get in the car. Honest Russian
taxi drivers are the exception, rather than the rule in my experience.

You could leave out "Russian", judging from the results of recent controls by
the police.


You could leave "taxi driver" out too and be not far from the truth.
