monet's garden, giverny

What is the best way of getting to Giverny from Paris to visit Monet's
garden? Is public transport quite straightforward or would it be less of a
hastle to arrange a coach trip from Paris? Are there coach trips to Monet's
garden from Paris? Any help will be much appreciated.

It's quite easy by train and local bus, costs about half what it would
by coach tour, and you can make your own schedule (subject to rail
timetables).

Train from Paris to Vernon

from there walk, cab or bus to the gardens.

(I found a couple of other tourists who wanted to share/split cab fare
with me both ways.

On a nice day not a bad walk either.
