Default China Travel Discussion List

THE ORIENTAL-LIST is a moderated list for those who prefer to discuss
travel in China or have their questions answered without wading through
irrelevant cross-postings, 'spam', and other trivia.

Now more than eight years old and with several hundred members, the list
provides a forum for the discussion of travel in China, and across
China's borders to the nearest major centres, such as Almaty, Bishkek,
Islamabad, Kathmandu, Hanoi, and Ulaan Baatar.

Practical travel queries; discussions of the merits of individual
destinations or routes; accounts of individual experiences; historical
and cultural material relevant to China travel; reviews and
notifications of other China travel resources (publications, websites,
public lectures, etc); political, legal, and ethical matters to do with
travel in China, and China travel news items are all welcome.

The list is moderated, with the intention of keeping it free from
irrelevant postings, and from commercial postings and 'spam'. It carries
no advertising. The list of members is not made available to any
individual or third party organisation.

Membership is, of course, free, and members include those
planning their first trips to China, experienced Asia travellers, and
the authors of several books on travel in China.

Default China Travel Discussion List

I am looking at helping hands to finish www.t2china.com we are an india
based pro organisation. travel when has more than just business is a
very big spectrum of human value system. we are aware that without
active partcipation it will be impossible to incorporate humane
qualities of travel. i wish that you all in this centre shall be able
to advice me on the following:
1. possibility of having acridated photographs.
2. suggesting probable transport centres in china. places that catters
to further places wd vehcular arrangements.
3. suggest hotels in places where they have speciality.
4. if any particular place has some unique product please let me know.
We took 4 years of trial and error to compleate t2india.com we have
managed to learn how can we probably seek informations and also do seek
further assistance. these 4 years were awsome without job and living on
savings............... but yes, now when we shall do on china, we shall
probably do it much much faster than making another 4 years of mistake.
When we were tired, we all used to read Eddison, "yes, I did invent
electric bulbs, it only took me 20000 steps to do so". Eaternal
optimistics we are, wish we can some day travel together to share what
we have learnt from your experiance.
Looking ahead to all of your suggestions.
Best wishes,
Sutanu
