Default New United Livery

When did United start using a new livery? I notice that when
Ulimate Traffic downloaded aircraft repaint updates (put
out a lot more than schedule updates), that all the United
aircraft where in a new white and dark blue livery. When
did United start using the new livery? (which, frankly, I
like much better than the drab gray livery they were using
for years).

The story goes that Steven Wolfe's wife liked the two-shaded-of-grey
color scheme. He was boss of United when they introduced it. Then he
went to USAir and __they__ introduced the reverse scheme using similar
colors. Both US and US signed BIG contracts with Airbus while he ran
them. A one-trick pony?
