Default You can still be stranded on an airplane.

A federal appeals court Tuesday struck down a state law requiring
airlines to give food, water, clean toilets and fresh air to
passengers stuck in delayed planes, saying the measure was well-
intentioned but stepped on federal authority.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said New York's law -- the first
of its kind in the country -- interferes with federal law governing the
price, route or service of an air carrier.

Ok, so it has to be a federal law. Everybody, contact your
Representative and/or Senator. In the mean time any airline with an
interest in having passengers in the future will not employ Gestapo
techniques and provide basic comforts like food (those little Dominoes
cars will deliver anywhere), bathroom breaks and fresh air.
