Default Budget travel Goa

Hi

I'm planning to travel the first 2 weeks of March to Goa. I will arrive at
Goa city. Does anybody have good travel experience to share or travel
information on the web.
What is a recommended site to consult ?

Thank you

Default Budget travel Goa

Far as I know there is no Goa city, the capital is called Panjim and
is quite layed back as is the state as a whole. Very different from
the rest of India due prImarily I suppose due to its history. Goa is
beautiful both on the sea and inland.

Of course the place is no sceret these days and finding a beach away
from it all, I'm assuming that that would be a primary reason for
visiting? maybe not?) is pretty near impossible, but some of the
quieter ones include Arumbal, in the North, or Palolem. Anjuna is of
course popular with its flea market and pretty impressive beach. I
liked Vagatore myself.

I noticed a hell of a lot of people on crutches when I was there but
if you can actually ride a bike then renting an old British Enfield is
a great way to see the state. Or, as it really isn't a big place, a
push bike will get you out and about if you don't mind a bit of
exercise.

Hope this helps a little...it's a great place to be.
