I know a small Chinese/American girl who spent months there and had no
problems. It is no more dangerous than (almost) anywhere else in
Europe.

Why traveking Eastern Europe, when Western Europe has so many
beautifull ( and safe) places!

Because it's cheaper and less touristy!

I know a small Italian girl, who did the same and is now head of a one
parent family.

And are you sure she didn't go for exactly that purpose?

It seems an odd reason.

Don't you think there are plenty of young ladies anywhere in the western
world who want a baby, who don't want to know who the father is, and who
don't want him to show up?

Would you?

I'm not a small italian girl.

The Ardennes, the most eastern part of Belgium, is also very quiet.
Sometimes I meet no more than 10 other walkers when I'm walking
trought that area. And using camping itcan also be very cheap!

She did know who the father was. He disappeared, when he found out she
was pregnant.
