Default Hotel Discounts In TX and LA

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060208/...vacuees_hotels

Can you imagine what condition these rooms are like. I mean like close
to six months in a three star hotel. Got the hot plate going in the
bathroom. The TV remote control fried from sixs months of constant use.
Think there might be graffitti? These folks didn't put down a credit
card to guard against damages. Wonder how often the restock the
mini-bar?

Imagine the poor housekeeping staff. "Wake up. It's past noon." The
police don't even walk the hallways of public housing, and some poor
old house cleaner has to come into each room and 'tidy up'. Think they
were trained with pepper spray and and the use of a night stick? Do you
throw out the empty malt liquor cans, or are they saving them?

Imagine the next traveler who stays at the hotel. The door shows
evidence of being kicked in. The TV is stuck on the WB.The smell of
fried food everywhere. Someone knocking at the door at 3 in the
morning, wanting to know if he can still get some "stuff". "Hello
Travlocity?"

I have no plans to travel to that part of the country, but if I did I
would be checking to see who some of it's latest guests were.

Given your attitude which probably indicates some strange standards of
personal care I am glad you won't be around here.
