Default Seeking CTO / IT Director / Technical Manager role, can you help?

All

I'm looking for a job:
http://www.siliconglen.com/news/2006...g-for-job.html

After over 6 years working for initially the Scottish Tourist Board
(recruited as e-commerce technical lead to deliver e-commerce for
Scottish Tourism - successfully delivered a few months after I joined),
then visitscotland.com, I am being made redundant at the end of October
as my work is transferring overseas following this announcement:

nd.html

Besides having to look for work ( interviewed by Google, Amazon and
lastminute.com), it's also an additional uncertainty as I try to add an
MBA to my existing qualifications. It's now looking like I'll have to do
it via distance learning as I have no idea where I am going to be
working and whether I'll be able to make the classes.

Any help and contacts gratefully accepted.

You can also see my e-bay listing :-)

Ideally looking for CTO/IT director/technical manager position - 12+
years experience as a company director brings significant business
experience to add to my technical skills

Initially looking at positions in Scotland although would consider work
elsewhere, having recently worked for vanquish.com (Massachusetts) to
build Editor's choice award winning softwa

and Barracuda Networks, one of the most successful companies in Silicon
Valley (see my positive endorsement on LinkedIn from their VP of
Marketing).

Not short of a few ideas on where things are going, I have 33 ideas on
Cambrian House across a wide range of technologies, demonstrating my
versatility:

History:
In 1989 I published a guide to Scottish events for STB in London
In 1994 I set up the first online guide to Scotland
In 1997 STB began project Ossian: http://tinyurl.com/ntlhy I helped
with publicity.
In 2000 I joined them
In 2002 I transferred to the new Ltd company eTourism Ltd (it was me who
thought up the name) and added test management of the contact centre
software to my list of technical responsibilities

So when you see visitscotland.com advertised on TV, call them up, or use
the website think of me and help me find something that's at least as
interesting and rewarding.
