undoubtedly pledged to the owner of the Invisible Hand, right andor left. a longtime ago, I found an unsigned article in *National Review*, "Global Warning," which was about the Mont Pelerin Society and its array of international wing nut foundation affiliates ... and, much later, I realized that it probable came form The Economist, because ... *all* of its articles are by the "mast-head collective." ".. as James Hansen, the head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, observes, “the five-year mean global temperature has been flat for a decade....” |

Climate scientists did not warn of global cooling. And none are warning of it now either. And I'd hope The Economist would be above smearing and ad hom attacks ("socialist formula"). |
