Default Question

I just read that Beijing, China has instituted traffic
restrictions. Is driving now banned in Beijing or any streets closed
to cars?

Reinstituted Oct 11 for 6 mos. This in theory will eliminate 800,000 cars
per weekday out of 3.5M s

It's been kept on. The new scheme stops number plates starting/ending (I
forget) with each of 2 digits per work day from driving that day. Weekends

Yeah, that was for Beijing Olympics and maybe that's one way to manage
