Wanted: Suggestions for Tour Operator to Tibet
I would like to visit Tibet (taking in Everest base camp) in June
2004. Can anybody suggest a reliable tour operator? I am looking for something around two weeks. I think I could use frequent flyer miles for a flight to Chengdu, so a tour in and out of Chengdu would be good. But of course, in and out of Nepal will work if I can find a reasonable priced flight. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you very much. Ozzie

Ozzie,
Would also be interested in any ideas on who would be good to contact for visiting Tibet and China in general ? have found many to be overpriced...hoping to find a nice deal.
