You're more optimistic than I am. I doubt that what happens online
will cause a hater to stop hating. Yes, there have been haters who
have reformed themselves, but I haven't heard of one who did that
because of something posted to a newsgroup. It's possible but
unlikely.

We may not target lunatic haters but sub haters.
And these subhaters may get into contact with the lunatics and by sheer
peer pressure tone down the hating.
