Getting Netherlands Train Info
I can't believe someone made a site so difficult to use.
I went to this site: http://www.ns.nl/ I selected English. My first leg will be Schiphol to Alkmaar. So I selected that airport going to Alkmaar. But it wants a travel method. Choices are all in Dutch. But I thought this site was for a train? Then in Alkmaar it is demanding a street address. I just want to go to the train station! Is there some other site that simply has the train schedules in an easy to use way (in English)? My trip legs: Schiphol - Alkmaar (morning) Alkmaar - Den Helder (morning) Den Helder - Den Haag (afternoon) Den Haag - Amsterdam CS Don www.donwiss.com (e-mail link at home page bottom). |

Doesn't produce fares in Netherlands though contrary to the NS site but you'll get all information about the timetable and rail connections. |
