Default Getting Netherlands Train Info

I can't believe someone made a site so difficult to use.

I went to this site: http://www.ns.nl/ I selected English. My first leg
will be Schiphol to Alkmaar. So I selected that airport going to Alkmaar.
But it wants a travel method. Choices are all in Dutch. But I thought this
site was for a train? Then in Alkmaar it is demanding a street address. I
just want to go to the train station!

Is there some other site that simply has the train schedules in an easy to
use way (in English)? My trip legs:
Schiphol - Alkmaar (morning)
Alkmaar - Den Helder (morning)
Den Helder - Den Haag (afternoon)
Den Haag - Amsterdam CS

This is what I got choosing English, Schiphol as the departure, and
Alkmaar as the destination:

Time Station/Stop Track Direction Journey details

20:35 Schiphol 1-2 Hoorn Stoptrein (NS)
20:43 Amsterdam Lelylaan
20:53 Zaandam 1
20:56 Zaandam 2 Alkmaar Intercity (NS)
21:08 Castricum
21:18 Alkmaar 3

All by NS.

This alternate site of the german railways (in english) will give
timetable info all over Europe or most of it.
Definitely does the stretch above

Thanks. That works very nicely. And a text only interface is an extra plus.

---------
The German timetable
http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
is one of the best for most of Europe.
Doesn't produce fares in Netherlands though contrary to the NS site but
you'll get all information about the timetable and rail connections.

Well, I don't see your difficulty, but for the sake of completeness,
there is another Dutch transport planner:

The one that gets me into Leiden in ten minutes relying on bus routes that
were
cancelled years ago?
