How is Britz for car hire in New Zealand?
Hello all, we are honeymooning in NZ in June and have booked a car (Toyota
Echo) through Britz car hire. Any comments on their level of service, car conditions, tricks and traps etc? I notice there insurance excess is quite low for hire cars, only $1000. Michael.

They're a reputable firm. Insurance excess is typically low in NZ!
If you have Travel Insurance - that will cover that excess - so you'll need no extra insurances. NZ does not require Personal Liability Insurance as they have a national compensation scheme.
