Default SBB price information

I'm trying to get the SBB website to give me the price for a train
connection, but it seems impossible without actually ordering a ticket.
Any tips?

I don't know about SBB, but at other sites I simply order a
ticket and quit once I've been given the price and asked for a
credit card number.

There's absolutely no problem.
When you've found the trains just go the
fares-buy button and you'll get the fares for that connection.
Only if you want to buy the actual ticket you have to continue with "select"
"log-in" and providing your card number.
You'll not be charged anything with just looking at prices and the SBB-site
is excellent not only providing prices for SBB itself but also for all
private Swiss railways

I realize now after playing round with this -the problem is that the
destination I need is in France, not inside Switzerland.

If from Switzerland to France , so far i can see the SBB timetable provides
prices.
Tried Zürich-Paris and got the prices. Now if it's a train connection
wholly inside France the SNCF site is the right one.
Beware that usually you can't ask for prices the same or next day so try a
date in the future.
