There is no "best" website.
You should shop around to find the lowest fare.
THis would include a major site, like Travelocity, as well as the
sirline's own website. For instance, if I wanted to go non stop and knew
that only 2 carriers flew there nonstop, then I would check those 2
carriers websites as well as a couple of the major ones. I generally
also look at qixo.com and sidestep (software you can install) for
comparisons as they both check multiple sites.

It is important to remember that fares can vary drammatically from day
to day. For instance, flying from the San Jose to Las Vegas you tend to
see the weekend cheap seats go fast.

(lowest fare being "best" in most consumers' eyes. If if you are
looking for something else for "best" than that is also ok)

Have a nice trip.. I recommend the Four Seasons. It occupies the top
few floors of Mandalay Bay, but is a separate hotel.
