I don't understand why you'd want to keep bots off your site. That just
hurts you with the search engines.

Why all the diagrams?


Some of the plugs are quite similar (e.g., the various rounded-pin ones).
With the diagrams you can tell for sure which sort of plug you are holding
in your hand.

So far I don't recall seeing any converted gas
fixtures in Europe.


At least, not in the many European countries I've visited.
Voltage is equal in all Europe. Only in the UK (as far as I've seen) the
pins are rectangular instead of round.

I don't think I've seen many converted gas fixtures domestically, but I'm
sure I've seen street lamps that have been converted from gas to
electricity, and some people like old oil lamps made into electric table
lamps.

I don't think I've seen many converted gas fixtures domestically, but I'm
sure I've seen street lamps that have been converted from gas to
electricity, and some people like old oil lamps made into electric table
lamps.
