Continental Biz Class lounge Gatwick/Newark

Does anyone have any experience/images/feedback on the Business
lounges for CO? I am travelling Business First on the 1st Oct and want
to know whether I should use them, or buy into the Virgin Clubhouse.

Also - any feedback on the seat/food/ents would be good - specifically
on the Gatwick Newark route - no real reviews on Carsurvey or
Airlinequality.

LGW: relatively small, nice views of runway, acceptable drink
selection, too few snacks, attentive and helpful personnel. Nothing
remarkable. Non-smoking.

Newark - there is more than one. Most are fairly large, free drinks,
usually pretty crowded. Non-smoking.

There isn't a club better than Branson's clubhouse.

BF is not much better than standard BC on most - except the 777 are
2X2X2 as opposed to the morte typical 2X3X2. They configure BF into
two cabins, row's 1-5 and then 7-12 (I think) with galley and heads in
between. Entertainment is personal video but not at your command.
They have a nasty habit of pitching the coffee 30 minutes before
touchdown - not too smart.

Food is generally acceptable - plastic knives, all else metal.

If you run into any problems - seek out a Concierge (at the PC) or a
redcoat.
