Swiss booking fees
Swiss's latest attempt to commit corporate suicide is to charge customers
a fee to do business with them. http://www.swiss.com/web/NS6/book-fl...servicefee.htm Explains the new 'transparent sales model' in which calling the call center to book a ticket will now incur a fee of Euro 8 (if you call from austria), Euro 20 (if you call from Belgium), Euro 10 (if you call from France) etc - if you call from the UK its free! Booking via the web also has a sliding scale depending on where you book from (UK also free). This is hilarious, can't wait to see what they'll come up with next. Emails to the airline asking for information on how the cost of tickets has been reduced accordingly (as implied on the website) remain unanswered. |
