Default Victoria Falls to Mozambique

We are planning to travel from victoria falls to some place on the coast of
Mozambique. We want to use public transport, and our time is limited. Should
we travel through Bulawayo - Johannesburg - Maputo, or ar there other
options?

Thanks,
Stan

You could do Bulawayo - Harare - Mutare - Beira - Maputo. This will
take you down the Mozambique coast through Inhasorro, Bazaruto,
Villancoulos, Inhambane etc. Very beautiful there, but will take some
time.

Regards,

Marc - Johannesburg (just got back from that area last night)

I did Vic Falls - Lusaka - Chipata - Lilongwe - (shores of Lake
Malawi) - Blantyre - Tete - Chimoio - Vilanculos, all on public
transport (albeit in the opposite direction) a few years back.
A fantastic trip, but count on at least a week even if you
hurry up... which you of course shouldn't do. Marc's suggestion
would be the faster option.
