Default Where are all the HAL Mexican cruises?

Hello... As usual, I went to book my fall Mexican 10 day cruise with
HAL. ...I was shocked to see that there is only one slated Riviera
cruise on the Ryndam (Oct 26, I think), and one 10 day Sea of Cortez
cruise (Oct 10th). What happened to the Statendam this fall? What
happened to the other 10 day cruises that HAL usually designates for the
Mexican west coast? Seems to me, there was always at least 2 fall 10
day cruises on each of the two ships. ...Of course, the Oct 26 Riviera
Cruise mini-suite cabins are already booked (except for a couple of
cabins in the worst location), so I decided to opt for the Sea of Cortez
guy (Once again) ..This cruise also had only a few cabins left --
Thankfully one mid-ship that I had stayed in before.
When I started cruising 3 years ago, there was always 6 or 7 choice
mini-suite cabins available, even as close as 4 months prior to cruise
sailing. Now, the few cabins are snatched up 6 months or more in
advance. Why the big cutback? ...Jon

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wouldn't mind hearing some
explanations, myself.

Looks like they are changing their itineraries. We see a lot of 7 & 8 day
cruises on the Ryndam and as for the Statendam they look like they are doing
a lot of Hawaii with one 21 day Panama Canal which looks interesting to us.

Carnival is getting into the market also with the Spirit doing 8 day trips
to Acapulco.

RCI has the Legend of the Seas doing 7 day turn arounds all this summer.

Celebrity is doing some 11 day turn arounds with the Mercury. We sailed this
past March with them and IOHO they are right up there with HAL if not
better.

Looks like the market is pretty saturated with Mexico Riviera that if they
don't offer something different they will start losing business.
