Airlines that let you pick your seat? London Bangkok
I've been a loyal Thai customer for my regular LHR BKK journey, only because
the website let me pick a seat before I handed over the cash. This facility doesn't work anymore. I think it's been 'improved' and as a result, the page cannot be displayed. I've had enough and they have to get the sack. No computer advice please, this is a travel group. My question is: What airlines let you pick your seat? British Airways, last time I looked only let you see what was available after payment. High Risk. Especially with their tendency to go on strike so not Thai and not BA. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance. Matt Hardy London |

Singapore airlines allows it but I think the option is only available after you buy the ticket and have a booking reference for input into the seat request system. Their system has a graphic layout of the plane/seats, but some seats never seem to be available including I think the emergency exits. I have also done it one the phone with the reservations people and maybe they have better access to specific seats than the internet version. I have a registered preference (through Krisflyer I assume) for window seats and for some odd reason their system usually automatically allocates me 33K or 34K on 747s. There are many other window economy seats but I probably get those seats 70-80% of the time in recent years. Very odd. But at least I know where the seats are by now. -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |
