Default Ferry from Canary Island to Africa?

Hi,

someone knows whether there is a ferry from Tenerife to Africa? I want
to go from Tenerife (or Cran Canaria) to Western Sahara, Mauritania or
Senegal. The only way I found is to go to Cadiz (Portugal) and from
there to Marocco.

Thanks for help

Unfortunately there are no direct ferries at all between the Canary Islands
and Africa.

However, there is a weekly flight (on a Tuesday) from Gran Canaria (Las
Palmas) to Nouahchott (with a stopover in Nouadhibou) with Air Mauretanie.
See http://www.airmauritanie.mr/

Depending on price, this may be a better option for you, rather than taking
a ferry back up north to either Spain or Portugal and then travelling back
down south again overland.

Hope this helps.

Regards
Gerry

thanks for that advice. Its an only 20 minutes flight.
I asked for a price. Hopefully it will be affordable.
