transportation advice, Miami to Ft Lauderdale

My husband and I will be staying several days in Miami before a cruise
out of Ft. Lauderdale. What is the best/easiest and most economical
way to get from one city to the other? Will also need to go back to
Miami to fly home. Thanks for any suggestions.

Why would anyone want to stay"several days" in Miamii?

The one time we flew into Miami and cruised out of Ft. Lauderdale, we
used the cruise line transfers. Going it was very smooth, going home
they kept waiting to fill up the bus and didn't care what time flights
we all had. We just made our flight with no time to spare.

I am sure other who have "good" suggestions will pop us soon.

My husband and I have flown into Miami Airport more than once to
Cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, each time we purchased a transfer from
the Cruise Line. If we were in Miami overnite then we would take the
Hotel shuttle back to the airport to connect with the Cruise Line
transfer. Easy Peasy. After the cruise we would purchase a transfer
to the airport for a same day flight home and we always got to the
airport in plenty of time and we are from Canada and since it is
International flight we would have to be at the airport 2 hours prior
to departure, once again easy peasy.
