Visit my page about travelling with nomadic tribes + photos
During the period of 3 years and 10 months (17.Oct.2000 to 18.Aug.2004)
I had conducted one of the most unusual educational journeys. I had travelled in Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Malawi, Uganda, New Sudan and Ethiopia covering a distance of 55302km by foot, trucks and buses. Most of the distances were covered by hitchhiking. It was about 10 tribes I had stayed with together, living their way of life for various periods of time. There was many, many adventures and stories, giving me a hope to write a book one day. And, yes, there was one undiscovered place, one village whereby I was the only white who had ever stepped inside. Dwellers who never travelled outside of the village - mostly women and children - had seen a WHITE for the first time in their lifes. http://ethiokenya.travel.ru/en |
