Cost of tourist visa for Australian in Vietnam
I am travelling to Vietnam on an Australian passport for two weeks in
September/October. I need a single entry tourist visa. I have downloaded the visa application form from the Vietnamese embassy website, and am ready to send it off with a cheque for the visa fee, but nowhere on the form or on the website does it indicate what the amount is. My attempt to email the embassy was returned as their mailbox is full, and all three phone lines are permanently engaged. The voicemail box is full and unable to accept messages. (Inspires confidence, doesn't it?) Can anyone tell me what the correct amount is, or where I can find out? Alternatively, is there a travel agent in Melbourne that can do it for me? |

I don't know Melbourne - but in every other Australian capital city there
are several Vietnamese Travel Agents who'd handle that for you. West End in Brisbane. "louis14" wrote in message ... Cost of tourist visa for Australian in Vietnam
I have solved the problem. Although I'm in Melbourne, I looked up the
website of the Consulate in Sydney, which had a different email address for the Embassy in Canberra, so I resent my email. But then I decided to ring Sydney, and they answered straight away, and they told me to send it to them (not the Embassy in Canberra) with a $70 payment. Sydney also had an easier-to-use form. Interestingly, the Embassy in Canberra have now replied, wanting $75, but I've already sent it to Sydney. |

Cost of tourist visa for Australian in Vietnam
Could you post or possibly send me the link and or phone number of the Australia consulate you spoke with and used in Sydney? I'm also living in Melbourne and headed to Vietnam in January and am having difficulty getting this sorted. I can't find the easier form/visa application you mentioned above. Any assistance would be greatly and wholly appreciated. r_propst@************ Thanks! -- ryaninoz Message Origin: TRAVEL.com |
