Dunedin Florida beaches

My granddaughter and I are headed out this week to do some cycling on
the Pinellas Trail and a couple other nearby bike trails. We're also
planning to hit the beach a few days weather permitting. We plan on
going to the Fort Desoto beach in the area but are wondering about
other beaches closer to Dunedin. Any information on other beaches
would be appreciated. I would prefer one with close by shopping,
restaurants, etc. Something to keep a teenager occupied

Clearwater Beach is what you're looking for. Go to Google, this
newsgroup, and check out past threads on Clearwater. Also be sure and
take her to the sponge docks at Tarpon Springs (Greek restaurants and
shops), preferably at night when it's lit up.

Caladesi Island, via Honeymoon Island is nice, the beach is big and
secluded. There are hiking trails throughout the island as well.

It is just north of Dunedin.
