Default Mediterranean: first cruise

Dear all,

my wife and myself are planning to go on a cruise
in August of this year. First cruise we do!
We are living in Europe, Belgium.
We were planning to go to the Mediterranean using
HAL/RCCL/COSTA/Celebrity.We prefer one of these four.

Do you recommend to book the cruise in our country (= more expensive)
or can we easily book the cruise via the internet and so obtain much
better prices?

If we book via the internet we need to arrange our
transportation/flights ourselfs.
The most I am worried about is to arrange the transport from the airport
to the ports and vice versa.
Do I need to be worried about this?

Thanks.

regards,
Kris

No, if you can manage to get a better price with a TA in the US,
transportation to the port is not hard to arrange. However, I'm not
sure that you can book the cruise through a TA here, or on the
internet at US prices.
