a place to stay in the Ukrain Carpathian Mountains?!

Hello,

I'm planning a trip to Ukraïne, just for a week, the thirth week of
februar. I will be arriving in L'vov (L'viv) and want to travel by
train to the mountains to stay there a few days and try some hiking.
For me the best place to stay would be at somebody's home
(homehousing/B&B) and I found a great website for this matter:

Tourism Association of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. But the website is
last updated the end of 2001!! And I can't get any contact with
them.
It would really be a pity if I had to stay at a hotel in that arrea.
Does anybody have a nice idea about this? The place I wan't to stay is
in the district of Ivano-Frankivs; at the south-east of the city. This
is the place in witch the Hutsuls live!

I would really be helped with your ideas and tips,
