If you're talking about Singapore $, then the Hotel 81 hotels seems to be a nice a choice, with around S$50 per night, though their spots near the red light district might be unwanted to some people. http://www.hotel81.com.sg/ If you're talking about U.S. $ , then I recommend Hotel Grand Central, I stayed a couple of times there, it's quite nice, it might not have much of the fancy new features though (it's quite an old hotel). Plus, it's located near Orchard Road and the MRT station Sommerset. http://www.ghihotels.com/hgc/
