Poor baby...

Look, you can't simultaneously tell some guy what he should have
done, then complain when he actually did it. A tiny bit of
consistency would seem appropriate here.

Comsistancy is the hobgobblin of little minds.
I didn't get to where I am today by being consistant.
.... But then, where am I? ;-)

Which of course if pointless the addressing and confronting
either abuse or fraud.

How does refusing to submit to airport ID checks and harassing ID
checkers address and confront either abuse or fraud?

However, as with any federal officer, one should be able to ask
them to identify themselves and be told under what color of authority
they operate.

Which federal officers refused to identify themselves to the
``hasbrouck'' and tell him under what color of authority they operate?

Asking for someone to identify themselves and the basis for their
authority is not "refusing to comply with the security procedures"

If refusing to submit to an ID check, challenging the checker and
attempting to move through an airport checkpoint without presenting
an ID is not refusing to comply with the security procedures, what
would be an example of refusing to comply with the security procedures?

If you refuse to be carded at a liquor store, make a
scene and the cashier calls the cops on you, he is not exercising the
authority of the police department.

He would be if you were ultimately charged with "interfering with
a federal officer" because of what you said to the cashier.

Was ``hasbrouck'' ultimately charged with interfering with a federal
officer because of what he said to the ID checker?
