Default [OT] Best and Worst American Cities according to Europeans

Europeans, particularly Italians and French, besides living in two of the
most beautiful countries in the world, are known for their good taste when
it comes to quality of life (food, clothes, cars, night life, weather,
women, etc). According to a recent poll these are the impressions of
Europeans about American cities.

5 Best (the least American cities):

Miami

Do Americans agree?

I'll bet they didn't consider Honolulu which is much cooler in the summer,
much warmer in the winter, less humid and surrounded by spectacular
mountains while Miami & environs are flat as a pancake. Miami can fear
hurricanes on a yearly basis, while Honolulu hasn't been hit by a hurricane
in over 40 years. KM

Your house has to be caged to keep the scum out.

The Cubans will steal your car in a minute.

Downtown Miami smells like urine.

South Beach is crowded with clueless tourists & the streets are full of
trash.

All the useless slugs do nothing but go "clubbing" at night and lie around
on a beach all day. Just a bunch of drugged up assholes.

Do I get an assist on that one? I need to pad my comedy stats because
I'm in the last year of my usenet contract.

It was a pretty slow serve, but considering the fact the picture
I found turned-out to be so damb good....yes...assist tallied.

I am not sure about that. Today the low in Miami is 72 and in Honolulu 70.

less humid and surrounded by spectacular mountains while Miami & environs
are flat as a pancake.

Miami has better night life and by the way Hawaii is very overrated (again
only by Americans as Europeans hardly care to go there). Caribbeans are
better (if anything for the general latin atmosphere). Maldive, Polinesia,
Mauritius, Seychelle, parts of the Thailand Islands are even better. But
then again it all goes back to Americans knowing nothing about the outside
world.

Miami can fear hurricanes on a yearly basis, while Honolulu hasn't been hit
by a hurricane in over 40 years. KM

You forgot to mention that they certainly enjoy much more the hot
sophisticated latin culture to the boring asian one.

LOL, it doesn't figure in the top 25 most dangerous cities in the country
unlike most cities in the midwest.

The Cubans will steal your car in a minute.

See above

Downtown Miami smells like urine.

You obviously have never been there

South Beach is crowded with clueless tourists & the streets are full of
trash.

Yes, and it also has the higher average rate price for hotels in the
country. Higher than NYC. Sounds like a lot of people want to go there.

All the useless slugs do nothing but go "clubbing" at night and lie around

If you are a plain fat ass american with white socks and black/brown leather
shoes then South Beach is definetely no place for you. I agree.
