Default YVR: Any experience late at night?

This will be perhaps an odd query but here goes. I was supposed to
fly to Vancouver this morning but I missed my flight. The next one
won't arrive until about 10:30 PM. I'm very concerned about being able
to get public transit late at night. (I had this all carefully planned
out but that's irrelevant now.) The last time I went to Vancouver,
midday Sunday, it took me two hours to get through passport control.
If I have that kind of wait I'm going to have to pay for a taxi to get
to UBC. Anyone have experience late at night at YVR, so I can have
some sense of what it probably will take? I've looked at the
Translink web site and it's not encouraging if I don't even get out of
the airport until after 12:30 AM Monday. Thanks.

This is the sort of question that the phenomenally frequent flyers
at Flyertalk love to answer. Ask in the Canada forum:

I fly into YVR a lot, usually arriving at 10:30pm. Passport control
is always a breeze. Last Tuesday, it took about 5mins, and that
is the longest wait I've had at immigration since the crowds during
the Olympics.
