Beijing Tourist Visit

I will visit Beijing 5/16 for 4 days, staying at the Crowne Plaza.
Recommendations for places to visit?
Restaurants?

4 days is not too much but you can visit at least in:

Tiananmen Square and Forbidden city (too many tourists inside in Forbidden
city but still worth of visiting)

The Great Wall (don't go to badaling, e.g. walk from Jingshanling to
Shimatai is good. Just negotiate car for one day, packets from hotels are
expensive. Language might be a problem in negotiations, but maybe someone
can help)

Lama Temple (Forbidden city is quite dead place, not in real use, but this
is still functioning, nice atmosphere)

Sanlitun cloth market in GongtiBeilu for some cloth shopping (remember to
bargain like crazy, nowadays right price is around -70% from the price first
given)

Restaurants:

Sichuan restaurants (check from Lonely Planet:-) Several good places but
difficult to explain where.

Metro cafe (GongtiXiLu, opposite of Gonti 100 bowling place) if fed up to
Chinese food and want to have a good pasta. The best pasta place in town and
good service.

Red Basil. The best Thai restaurant. (North-East 3rd ring road.)

Excellent Indian food can be found from Zhaolong Hotel's Indian restaurant
(in the crossing of GongtiBeiLu and 3rd ring road)

City Weekend is good English newspaper to check locations of these places
and find more.
