MIA to Fort Lauderdale?

Hi all

Just wondering what is the best way to get from MIA to Fort Lauderdale
(not including renting a car). We are taking a cruise out of Port
Everglades and will be flying in a day in advance. Could use the cruise
shuttle to back to MIA, but I am not sure what to do when flying in.
Only asking this, as some of the low fares to FLL are sold out, while
they are available to MIA. Also need to know about cost, as that eat
away at our saving for the airfare.

Do not use the cruise line shuttle back to Miami. The one time we did
this we got off the ship early and sat on the bus for a long time
untill they filled it up. We wound up getting to our gate just as they
were starting the boarding process. I will never fly into Miami for a
Fort Laurderdale cruise again!!

There are also trains. There is a bus from MIA to the train
station. I suppose one would take a cab from the Fort Lauderdale
station. Or, for Port Everglades, the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood
station might be better.

We were hoping to do an Everglades tour before catching our flight
home. If I am correct this tour includes transportation to the airport
either MIA or FLL.

We were hoping to do an Everglades tour before catching our flight
home. If I am correct this tour includes transportation to the airport
either MIA or FLL.

If you combine it with an excursion like this, it would probably work
better. Can't really say for sure, we just went directly to the airport.
