Default Costa Cruise Ships?

Regents has an almost decent smoking policy. There are about four
places on the ship where one can smoke - The Mariner Lounge, The Casino
bar (not at the tables), starboard pool deck and one aft open deck. My
only complaint with their policy was that I couldn't stand out on my
balcony and have a cigaretter with my morning coffee.

I was amused by Rosaly's statement that, "of course, I hate smokers."
That means that she hates around 90,000,000 American citizens and only
God knows how many Europeans and Asians. That's a lot of hatred to pack
around :-)

For your sarcastic information, I smoked from l7 to 60 and so did my
husband. When we stopped we could not stand the stench of anyone else'
cigarette and now that I have learned that second hand smoke is just as
harmful, I do hate anyone who smokes near me. Do what you please =
except for ignorance and bigotry I try not to hate anyone. royals

I did not find Ken Smith's comment sarcastic at all, as he was merely
responding to a statement you made!

Hey, I wasn't the one who posted, ". . . of course, I hate smokers." I
just pointed out the magnitude of your hate, done in good humor on my
part.

If you don't mean it don't post it.

Hi Kenn,

It's kind of sad to be confronted with people so proud of their negative
feelings, demanding that the rest of us must be anti. I worry about things,
drunks, drugs, Tigers, but hate is a strong and violent emotion that can eat
you up. Your comment presumed that the woman overstated her opinion. I
guess not. Now does she hate you and me?

I guess we'll have to learn to live with it, Harry - don't think it will
have much impact on my life, however.

Hi Kenn,

Do you have a secondary address, this one says it's full? I was hoping to
hear more about your cruise. Sorry to bother everybody else.

I'm planning on a cruise from Florida and have never been on a Costa ship.
How do they compare to other cruise lines? Someone told me that because
it's an Italian ship, there's lots of smoking on board.. Is that true? That
might turn me against going on that cruise line.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Helen

I have a friend who took a Mediterranean cruise last year I think. She
didn't like all the smoking and she's not all that bothered by
smoking.

Last time I was in Rome, they still allowed smoking in restaurants. You
could be just starting your meal, and people at a table 20 inches away could
be getting their coffee and lighting up. It was pretty disgusting.

When was that? I'm really bothered by smoke. I'll get asthma attacks
from it and we were in Rome in 2007 and I was OK.
I got the impression that there had been a lot of improvement not long
before went.

Harry, try KSmith10*at*hot.rr.com It's good on my computer and never
fills up. I let this one fill up with spam because got tired of
deleting stuff and never use it for email anyway.
