Default Carnival Paradise - Thanks for the non-smoking cruise while it lasted

Anyone that might want to take a trip on a non-smoking ship should
really take one of the last few cruises on the Paradise. This ship is
going to the west coast and will become a smoking ship. I have not
heard of any plans by Carnival to put out another non-smoking ship.

I don't blame them. From a profitability standpoint the take, from
the Bars and Casino are probably a lot less since the Paradise tends
to book a lot of families. I have been on this ship 3 times and on no
other ships. My wife and children hate smoke, (I used to smoke - quit
15 or more years ago, lost track...).

I probably will not cruise again so Carnival will not lose my money to
another cruise line. I am sure that they will turn a better profit
with smoking ships though.

I will miss cruising but, really appreciate Carnival trying this out.
I had lots of fun on their cruises! I probably would never have gone
on a cruise if they had not made this attempt, there really is nothing
like cruising, I would not have missed the experience for the world.

Thanks,

George

This has been discussed a lot. But as far as the non smoking aspect goes, a
lot of people (during the discussion I mentioned) said that carnival has
made changes to where smoking is allowed and that it has become rather
limited.

Not sure on specifics though.

As a non smoker for a year and a half, I would not have minded taking a non
smoking cruise. But smoke doesn't bother me the way it did when I was a
smoker.
