What type of cuisine? You might want to look at the New York Forum of eGullet.org, too. Michael If you would like to send a private email to me, please take out the TRASH, so to speak. Please do not email me something which you also posted. |

Where are you staying Esther?
I have some favorite somewhat high end restaurants in NYC is you are interested. I like "'Domingo" for Spanish food. It is owned by the opera singer Placido Domingo. Next would be Italian at "Felidia." It is owned by a wonderful woman named Lidia Bastianich -- who has a television show on Public Broadcasting. Their "Ossu Bucco" is to die for. I'm sure I did not spell that correctly either! She also has another restaurant in Midtown called "Becco" which is more pasta oriented Italian. For a steak, I would go to "Luger's" in Brooklyn. Have fun in NYC ---- you certainly will NOT go hungry there! djb estherhoward wrote: Hello You guys were so helpful before with where to stay in New York City I was wondering if u could recommend Broadway shows and fine restaurants. Esther,
You might want to ask your food question in the newsgroups "nyc.food" also. It is full of New Yorkers who can make good suggestions also! djb estherhoward wrote: Hello You guys were so helpful before with where to stay in New York City I was wondering if u could recommend Broadway shows and fine restaurants.
